To all my fellow entrepreneurs, I know first-hand the struggles that comes with trying to balance the demands of entrepreneurship, home and family, as well as personal well-being.
The early mornings and late nights, the constant hustle and grind – it can all take a toll on our physical and mental health. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly spinning plates, and when we get our last plate spinning we look back and see that the other plates need us to rush back and quickly spin them again, or they will lose momentum.
At least that’s how it has felt for me over the years. I struggle keeping it all together. Can anyone relate?
Today I want to share with you a powerful method that has really helped my life and my approach to each day: the Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.

In this book, Elrod introduces the concept of creating a powerful morning routine that sets the stage for a productive, fulfilling day ahead.
The Six Practices of the Miracle Morning
The core idea behind the Miracle Morning is to dedicate time each morning to six key practices, each represented by a letter in the acronym SAVERS:
- S – Silence: Begin your day with moments of silence, whether through meditation, prayer, or simply being still and present.
- A – Affirmations: Affirm your goals, aspirations, and beliefs through positive affirmations that set the tone for the day.
- V – Visualization: Visualize your future success and the goals you want to achieve, allowing your mind to create a clear image of your desired outcomes.
- E – Exercise: Energize your body and mind through physical activity, whether it’s a quick workout, yoga session, or a brisk walk.
- R – Reading: Feed your mind with knowledge and inspiration by reading books or articles that educate and motivate you.
- S – Scribing: Reflect on your thoughts and feelings through journaling, allowing you to gain clarity and insight into your emotions and goals.
My Journey with the Miracle Morning
When I first stumbled upon the Miracle Morning, I was skeptical. Could I really wake up earlier, add more tasks to my already busy schedule and make a difference in my success?
I don’t talk about this often, but in addition to struggling with balancing it all like other entrepreneurs do, I also battle fibromyalgia, Myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS), also known as chronic fatigue syndrome, and ADHD. This combination leaves me extremely exhausted, unable to focus like I want to, and limited in what I am able to accomplish in a day compared to others.
So in my desperation for change, I decided to give the Morning Miracle Method a try. And let me tell you, it has truly been super helpful to me and my entrepreneurial journey!
Waking up an hour earlier each day was tough at first, but as I started incorporating the SAVERS practices into my morning routine, I began to notice a shift in my mindset and productivity.
The moments of silence and prayer helped me find more calm and joy amidst the chaos, while affirmations and visualizations gave me the confidence and clarity I needed to tackle each day with purpose.
Exercise became my morning mood booster, reading fueled my curiosity and learning (this was an easy part for me because I absolutely LOVE to read and learn!), and journaling became my daily therapy session. I prefer to use my journaling time to write what I am grateful for each day. This alone is life changing! If you’ve never focused on gratitude journaling, I encourage you to try it for at least 30 days and see the difference it makes!
The Miracle Morning wasn’t just about checking off tasks; it was about building a foundation for personal growth and success. I’ll be the first one to tell you that I have not mastered it all perfectly. There are days when my health keeps me from starting my days like I plan to or want to. But as much as I am able, this truly does help!

I encourage you to read the book and give the Miracle Morning a chance. I definitely understand the hustle and grind, the never-ending to-do lists, and the pressure to succeed. But in the midst of all this chaos, it’s crucial to prioritize your well-being, your health and your mindset.
